陕西中医药大学

陕西中医药大学的前身是1952年创建于西安的西北中医进修学校，1959年升格为陕西中医学院，是陕西唯一一所培养高素质中医药人才的普通高等院校，是1978年中共中央56号文件确定的全国8所重点建设的中医院校之一，1978年招收培养硕士研究生，1981年成为全国首批硕士学位授予单位，1990年被教育部批准为首批有条件接收国外留学生、港澳台地区学生的高等院校，2015年更名为陕西中医药大学。2019年确定为陕西省一本招生单位。2021年成为省局共建中医药院校。学校现有各类在校生近1.5万名，教职员工5000余人（含直属附属医院）。经过70年的建设和发展，陕西中医药大学已成为一所以中医药专业为主体，中西医并重，医、理、工、文、管多学科专业相互支撑、交叉融合的医科类院校。

Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine was formerly the Northwest School of Chinese Medicine established in Xi'an in 1952. It was upgraded to Shaanxi School of Chinese Medicine in 1959. It is the only ordinary institution of higher education in Shaanxi to cultivate high-quality Chinese medicine talents. Our university is one of the eight key-constructive universities on TCM confirmed by the central government’s NO. 56 document in 1978. At the same year, we began the enrollment of master degree students, and in 1981 we were granted as one of the universities in first-batch to award master degree. In 1990, we were approved to receive international students and students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan districts, again as one of the universities in first-batch. In 2014, we were granted the Chinese government scholarship for foreign students. In 2015, we were upgraded to Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine.There are nearly 15,000 students of all kinds and more than 5,000 staff (including directly affiliated hospitals). Under construction and development for over 70 years, Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine has become a comprehensive medical institute, with TCM and TCD specialties as main body, multi-supported and intermingled by majors and disciplines of medicine, science, engineering, literature and management.
